Overview Join to apply for the System Specialist role at Downer Professional Services . Base pay range A$140,000.00/yr - A$200,000.00/yr What You’ll Bring Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries. Strong Linux OS expertise including automation and administration, with hands-on experience using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Salt, or Chef. Proficiency in containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes. CI/CD pipeline experience using platforms like GitLab Runners, Jenkins, or Bamboo, supporting agile development and deployment. Virtualisation and infrastructure knowledge, including VMware and Hyper-V, to support scalable and secure environments. Understanding of agile and secure environments, with experience in SAFe, DevOps, Scrum, and working in air-gapped or Defence settings. Cyber security awareness and familiarity with cyber operations Ability to produce and review technical documentation Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
