Overview As a Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with regional Sales Team members, Product Management and Customers in the development of custom machine options, specifications and solutions. These tailored solutions are designed to meet site, application and environmental needs. The role includes general engineering duties such as problem definition, solution specification and referencing to standards. You will advise conceptually on engineering design fundamentals including hydraulics, structural, low voltage electrical and machine applications. Qualifications Engineering qualification or trade experience background is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Design software (CAD, SOLIDWORKS, Windchill) highly regarded. Knowledge of Engineering Design processes from conceptual design through to product delivery highly regarded. Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic engineering and a working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems preferred. Ability to develop and clearly articulate engineering activity plans. Must be technically competent to understand and deliver Design requirements and implement revised or new processes and procedures. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and clearly articulate project management action plans and engineering activities.
