Sales Engineer - Energy & Infrastructure - Full Time - Perth City, Australia Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are looking for a Sales Engineer – Energy & Infrastructure to join our FE_Energy team in Australia. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Drive customer engagement across Australia & Oceania, fostering strong relationships through direct and digital interactions. Execute strategic sales and marketing activities aligned with sustainability, digital innovation, and energy transition initiatives. Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring compliance with global standards and project requirements. Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and high‑growth sectors. Maintain performance reporting, contribute to continuous improvement, and meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborate across global and local teams to drive innovation, share insights, and enhance customer‑centric solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need: Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (or equivalent experience). Industry‑related experience, including complex tenders and contract negotiation. Background in quality assurance/management and knowledge of quality standards systems. Trusted relationship and stakeholder management, customer‑oriented mindset. Business acumen and understanding of industry trends. Clear communication, strong negotiation, and persuasive skills. Ability to travel regularly for customer visits.
