Job Reference # BR City Sydney Job Type Full Time Your role Are you customer‑centric focused with a great track record of resolving enquiries? Do you use innovative approaches to identify and address client needs? We’re looking for an ETD Client Service Specialist to: Provide excellent client service to ETD (Exchange Traded Derivatives) clients by monitoring, investigating, and responding to client queries related to day‑to‑day issues. Participate in local client visits and meetings with the local exchange (ASX) regarding industry projects and initiatives. Work closely with the local Fixed Income business to manage risks and escape issues in a timely and efficient manner. Perform and review daily and monthly client money reconciliations for futures and exchange traded options. Collaborate with internal teams, including collateral and margin, settlements, offshore and regional Operations, to address and resolve client breaks or issues. Address a range of audit requests from both internal and external sources, ensuring that any client audit inquiries are directed promptly to the appropriate internal audit teams. Act as the point of contact between clients and our technical support and development teams. Assess current processes and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and reinforce control measures. Commit to a culture of continuous improvement centered on client service and risk management. Deliver on various firm and industry‑wide projects and initiatives. Your team You will be part of the ETD and Fixed Income Middle Office team in Sydney. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across the front and back offices globally to address both internal and external client inquiries, manage trade allocations, resolve confirmation exceptions, and conduct client money reconciliations. Our key objective is to provide outstanding client service while continuously enhancing process efficiency and strengthening risk controls. Your expertise Previous client services and/or middle office experience, within the financial services industry Strong client focus, solid numerical skills, and knowledge of ETD and Fixed Income products. Communicates effectively and maintains relationships across various levels. Comfortable working with internal and external clients and stakeholders Demonstrated expertise in enhancing operational processes, mitigating risks, or elevating customer satisfaction. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure situations. Have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EUAs Self‑motivated and driven.
