This is: the job Our client is seeking the expertise of an SAP FICO Business Analyst, on an 8 month, Melbourne based contract.You’ll work across a broad portfolio of business and IT teams, helping shape solutions that improve processes, enhance products, and support large-scale initiatives across a complex SAP project environment.This role plays a key part in guiding business stakeholders through requirements definition, translating needs into clear technical direction, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that are aligned to real business outcomes.This role is hands‑on, collaborative, and central to ensuring projects move smoothly from idea to implementation.You’ll be embedded within the Enterprise Solutions function, working closely with SAP, Finance, Salesforce, and a range of other platforms while contributing to an ongoing uplift in capability, process maturity, and continuous improvement across the organisation. This is: what you’ll do Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and clarification across business and technical teams Conduct workshops to understand business models and translate insights into clear business and software requirements Collaborate with technical teams to validate solution designs and ensure alignment to defined outcomes Support delivery teams through development, testing, and deployment activities Provide effort estimates for new initiatives and pre-project analysis for upcoming work Manage defects and testing cycles, ensuring issues are prioritised, tracked, and resolved Oversee project documentation and handover processes to support teams Contribute to IT strategy, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives across the division This is: what you’ll need Extensive experience as an SAP Business Analyst within a complex project environment Strong background working across enterprise applications Solid SAP FICO experience Proven ability to translate business goals into clear, actionable requirements Solid understanding of Agile principles and experience working across cross‑functional teams Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project Ability to manage multiple streams of work, adapt to changing needs, and work effectively under pressure This is: the perks Influence major enterprise technology initiatives with high visibility across the organisation Work across a diverse application landscape with opportunities to broaden your technical exposure Join a team invested in continuous improvement, capability uplift, and modern delivery practices Play a hands‑on role in shaping business outcomes while growing leadership and product ownership skills This is: for good Apply with purpose.
