Account Manager – SG Fleet AU This position is responsible for providing proactive account management support aligned with a key customer portfolio through the delivery of outstanding customer service. The role is also expected to manage day‑to‑day customer fleet management requests and seek opportunities to maximise business renewal and organic growth. Tasks and Responsibilities Proactively manage assigned customers to deliver professional fleet management services and maintain strong customer relationships. Serve as the primary daily contact, addressing and following up on all customer requests, including preparing quotations, managing terminations and lease restructures in line with best practice. Regularly review a customer’s fleet through effective reporting, identifying and addressing exceptions and opportunities to reduce costs via fleet optimisation. Capture all business potential, maximize renewals and margins, upsell additional products and services, and introduce value‑adding initiatives. Support the preparation and presentation of strategic reviews and credit limits in conjunction with the Relationship Manager/National Manager Small Fleet. Ensure client contractual obligations and KPIs are met and exceeded, providing measurements upon request. Build rapport, identify revenue growth opportunities including fee uplifts, maintain a “client strategy” document, and support a structured visitation program. Skills and Experience Experience building and maintaining relationships at senior corporate level. Effective relationship management and clear, evidence‑based communication. High level of business acumen and commercial awareness. Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong listening and probing skills. Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel. Skilled negotiator, achieving successful outcomes with stakeholders. Knowledge of fleet management products and services, including asset funding. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, meeting deadlines and reporting regularly. Commercial vehicle/fleet management experience is ideal. Flexible, organized, open and approachable working style. Thorough and accurate, maintaining quality data standards. Demonstrates initiative, taking on additional work beyond assigned tasks.
