This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated and supportive team in a practice that values not only outstanding patient care, but also a positive and cohesive workplace culture. You'll be joining a team of four highly skilled orthopaedic surgeons and fantastic sports doctors, all of whom are committed to fostering an environment where staff feel genuinely valued and supported. About the Role As the Practice Manager, you'll be the go top person of the practice, ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration and operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be to nurture the team and maintain the high standards of patient care the practice is known for. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading, coaching, and mentoring the administrative team. Overseeing all aspects of patient services and practice operations. Ensuring compliance with Medicare, health funds, and other insurers. Coordinating practice systems and workflows; experience with Genie is highly desirable. Managing administrative oversight; please note that surgical billing, payroll, and end-of-month processing are handled by external providers. This is a full-time role structured as a four-day work week (Monday to Thursday), providing a regular long weekend to promote work-life balance. About You The ideal candidate will be a kind, calm, and highly organised leader with a background in practice management, ideally within a specialist or surgical setting. You'll lead by example and have a strong understanding of Medicare and third-party billing. Most importantly, you are a compassionate and hardworking individual who is ready to guide a dedicated team. This is a key leadership role, and the current Practice Manager (one of the owners) will provide a thorough handover and ongoing support to ensure a seamless transition into the position.
