Workshop Administration Assistant

Due to Kinetics’ ongoing growth, we are currently seeking an Administration Assistant who will act as the primary support for both our Preston and Tullamarine workshops, with responsibilities split approximately 60/40 between the two locations. You’ll be involved in: Performing administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, maintaining information files, processing various paperwork Recording and maintaining information for meetings, personnel, and contractor management Managing inventory of workshop supplies including purchase and distribution Distributing uniforms to all employees across the assigned depots Overseeing facility management and maintenance by coordinating with outside vendors and contractors Completing ad hoc tasks which contribute to the success of the organisation The boxes you’ll tick: Excellent customer service skills and an approachable demeanour Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds Relevant experience in blue collar industry with demonstrated organisational ability and time management High level of initiative and ability to exercise sound judgement Positive approach to a continual changing operations environment Strong computer literacy including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote) as well as ability to learn other internal systems The benefits of working with us: Flexible and supportive environment to allow a good work-life balance Secure employment with a company that has a diverse and inclusive culture Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program which includes financial advice, nutritional coaching, counselling and legal guidance Free and secure on-site parking About us: Kinetic is Australasia's only dedicated mass transit bus operator which operates some of the most recognisable names in bus transport.
