About the Role As a Kitchen Steward your duties will include, but are not limited to: Cleaning and moving crockery, cutlery, equipment, pots and pans Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organisation of kitchen, fridge, cool room and dry store areas Taking out rubbish, boxes and maintaining safety of all kitchen areas Refilling/restocking bain-marie, sanitisers, dishwashers, ice wells and canteen areas Other kitchen housekeeping activities as directed Skills & Experience Previous cleaning experience in a commercial kitchen or similar environment Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail Professional attitude and good communication skills Ability to work in a physical role (lift, pull and push up to 20kg) Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Awareness of Occupational Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures Flexibility to work on weekdays/weekends and holidays Unrestricted rights to work in Australia Renowned for our refreshingly local, down-to‑earth experiences.
