Benefits Generous Super Contributions: Matched up to 5% Competitive salary: $101,013.12 per annum + Superannuation Public Service Holidays: Enjoy additional time off over Christmas Exclusive Staff Benefits: Access a range of perks Fulltime - Permanent position The City of Bunbury is seeking an organised, proactive, and highly skilled Executive Assistant to the CEO to provide exceptional executive support and play a key role in the smooth and effective operation of the Office of the CEO. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains absolute confidentiality, and can confidently manage competing priorities while building strong working relationships across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level administrative and executive support, including travel, accommodation and event registrations for the CEO, and where required, the Mayor, Councillors, and Directors. Undertake research into strategic topics, project opportunities and initiatives relevant to the CEO’s priorities. Maintain strong communication links between the CEO and the Mayor, Councillors, Directors, and senior leaders across the organisation. Prepare, collate and manage documentation requiring CEO signature or application of the Common Seal. Coordinate staff tenure service certificates and associated recognition programs in line with City policy. Draft correspondence, briefings, presentations and reports on behalf of the CEO. Prepare and review project updates, CEO KPI reporting, budget summaries and other strategic documents. Provide advice to the Office of the CEO on strategic projects and initiatives. Provide guidance, advice and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to the organisation on behalf of the CEO. About You Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives or working in a high-level administrative role. Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence, briefing notes and reports. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. High levels of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels. A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
