You’ll enjoy: A short walk from Granville Station plus convenient free street parking Working within the dedicated GART multidisciplinary team A culture built on respect, collaboration and innovation Serving communities across Auburn, Blacktown and the broader Greater Western Sydney region A workplace committed to empowerment, recovery and continuous improvement What you’ll be doing As a Mental Health Clinician (Registered Nurse), you’ll deliver evidence-based intensive outreach services to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness. You’ll work within a collaborative Recovery Model, supporting consumers, carers and partner services to optimise engagement, wellbeing and independence. In this role, you will: Provide comprehensive assessments, outreach interventions and ongoing reviews to support consumers in the community Build strong therapeutic relationships with consumers, carers and support networks to promote recovery and sustained wellbeing Develop individualised care plans with clear goals, strategies and early-intervention approaches Advocate for consumer rights and ensure access to appropriate services, supports and resources Contribute to quality improvement, service development, clinical reviews and education activities within the team Hours of Work are Monday to Friday – 8:30 am to 5:00pm with definite possibilities of the team working Monday to Sunday in the near future. Essential Requirements Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Selection Criteria Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness. Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice. Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision. Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007. Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
