Overview As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead strategic technical initiatives and mentor engineering leaders within the Virtual Relationship Management (VRM) Crew. Responsibilities Lead strategic technical initiatives and mentor engineering leaders. Drive the development of agentic platforms that transform traditional business processes. Represent engineering perspectives while balancing technical and commercial considerations. Drive a culture of transparent, data‑driven communication about delivery timelines, trade‑offs, and risks. Champion the modernisation of engineering practices through AI‑powered automation. Drive continuous improvement in technical foundations, including data quality, infrastructure, and development frameworks. Qualifications Demonstrable experience managing and coaching leaders. Hands‑on experience designing and implementing robust technical architecture and standards. Experience leading full‑scale AI development teams and solutions. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (primarily AWS) and modern architecture patterns. Expertise in data engineering, including data transformation, pipeline orchestration, and analytics platforms. Strong background in cloud‑native DevSecOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment pipelines. Experience implementing robust engineering quality practices, including automated testing and observability solutions. Knowledge of security governance and compliance requirements for data‑intensive applications. Experience building and maintaining secure, high‑performance systems that handle sensitive customer data. Tech Skills Strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical application in engineering. Proven track record of modernising engineering practices and driving technical transformation. Experience leading full‑scale AI development teams and solutions (e.g., Agentic Frameworks, NxtJS, React, GraphQL, FastAPI). Expertise in data engineering, including data transformation, pipeline orchestration, and analytics platforms (e.g., DBT, Data Warehouse, Snowflake). Strong background in cloud‑native DevSecOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment pipelines (e.g., CloudFormation, CDK, GitHub Actions). Experience implementing robust engineering quality practices, including automated testing and observability solutions.
