The Role Stepping into this position means owning the day‑to‑day rhythm of the wait team and ensuring every guest interaction delivers on a standard of excellence. You'll oversee service across meetings, corporate events and day‑to‑day guest operations, while keeping communication tight between hospitality, AV, kitchen, events and reception teams. From training and coaching your team, to ensuring seamless room presentation, to taking the lead on corporate events — you'll be the operational anchor that keeps everything smooth, polished and professional. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and support a cohesive wait team with daily briefings, feedback and ongoing development Maintain strong communication with internal teams including AV, Events, Kitchen and Reception Plan, coordinate and execute internal and external events from start to finish Manage stock proactively, including wine and spirits, using internal systems Ensure meeting rooms are impeccably presented and service‑ready at all times Uphold and model premium service standards across all client touchpoints Handle operational admin: rosters, invoicing, recharge management, expenditure tracking, SOP updates Assist across hospitality operations when needed — from coffee machines to kitchenettes to reception Maintain impeccable grooming and wardrobe standards and uphold them across the team What You Bring Extensive experience in high‑end corporate, hotel or restaurant service Proven leadership experience within a hospitality team RSA certification Strong knowledge of service protocols, food wine, and espresso coffee A proactive, polished and client‑focused approach Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and manage competing priorities Strong communication and professional presentation Experience with POS, booking systems and the Microsoft suite is an advantage Hospitality qualifications or WSET highly regarded Why This Role Matters This is an opportunity to lead service in a corporate environment that values tradition, professionalism and top‑tier presentation.
