About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scheduling Team Leader to manage and develop a small but high‑performing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless rostering operations, contributing to intake and assessment coordination, and managing on‑call support. This is a pivotal time at Direct Care Australia, as we aim to enhance and embed improved rostering practices and potentially transition to new scheduling software. Your leadership will be central to that change. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the scheduling team, fostering a positive and results‑driven culture. Oversee daily rostering operations and on‑call activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Utilise advanced data analysis and reporting skills to deliver monthly Scheduling KPI reports to senior management. Work collaboratively with Case Managers and Program Leads to balance workforce supply and client needs. Support the ongoing improvement and embedding of rostering practices. Contribute to the transition and implementation of new scheduling software, including system testing, user training, and process refinement. Ensure accurate record‑keeping and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements (Disability, Aged Care Standards etc). Manage team rostering, leave planning, and administrative workflows. Key Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role, ideally within health, aged care, or community services. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve outcomes. Strong experience in rostering and scheduling within a compliance‑driven environment. Knowledge of NDIS, HCP, and related program funding models. Proficiency with rostering systems (experience in system transitions highly regarded). Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills. Strong commitment to quality assurance and Work Health and Safety standards.
