About the roleThe primary purpose of the role is to provide specialist support to Ventia sectors to effectively implement workers compensation, health and injury management activities for employees.Support implementation of sector workers compensation and health management strategies for injury management, illness prevention and management of all employee and workplace wellbeing factorsFacilitate co-ordination of claims, rehabilitation and return to work activitiesDevelop effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholdersCase management strategy development and implementation for workers compensation, health and injury management mattersEstablish and maintain effective networks with treating doctors, insurers and rehabilitation providers, including review of preferred providersMonitor and track claim trends, costs, outstanding liability and provision accountsIdentify sector training and development needs and facilitate information and delivery
About youMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience with Comcare and SRC ActTertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Human Resources/Industrial Relations (HR/IR), or SafetyEffective consulting and relationship management skillsExperience with completing Return to Work plans, developing Health Management plans, implementing workplace health initiatives and injury management practicesExperience in implementing change initiatives
