AO5 Business Analyst QLD Government Contract Location: Brisbane CBDDuration: 15 December 2025 - 30 June 2026 + likely ongoing extension Use your analytical skills to influence data-driven decisions and improve business outcomes This QLD Government Department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to understand operational needs, analyse data, and deliver insights that shape strategic directions. What you'll be doing: Research and analyse business intelligence artefacts and prepare clear documentation and recommendations. Engage with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and build strong networks across the business. Provide advice on processes, data, and systems to support new technologies and tools. Develop process maps, templates, and change management artefacts to improve operations. Support user acceptance testing and communicate changes effectively to stakeholders. Maintain and enhance business intelligence artefacts aligned with government methodologies. Contribute to improving analysis practices and templates for better communication and outcomes. What we're looking for: Strong business analysis skills with experience in process improvement and stakeholder engagement. Ability to translate data into actionable insights and influence strategic decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with data analysis and data storytelling is highly desirable.
