As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and taxation services to our diverse client base. This is a strategic position that will play a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of our organisation. What you’ll be doing Preparing and filing annual tax returns, including individual, partnership, trust and company returns Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and other reporting requirements Preparing Business Activity Statements for clients Bookkeeping for clients using different accounting software Conducting tax research and analysis to identify tax minimisation opportunities for clients Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional client service Tax planning, forecasting, and budgeting for clients through critical analysis and tax reporting Assist with internal and external audit requests Filing FBT return for clients Preparing month‑end reports and cash flow statements for clients. What we’re looking for Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum 1 year of post‑qualification experience in accounting is a must. Candidates with more experience will be preferred Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail Proficient in the use of accounting software and tax preparation tools MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks, and Reckon Elite Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes Advanced computer literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook Excellent analytical and time management skills Professional experience in working with confidential and sensitive information.
