Academic Operations Coordinator - Penquite Campus (Senior School) Scotch Oakburn College is seeking an experienced Academic Operations Coordinator to join their Senior School team. The days and hours of work for this position will be determined in consultation with the successful candidate, based on operational needs and individual availability. Flexibility may be required to accommodate College priorities and seasonal demands. The Academic Operations Coordinator will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school's academic operations. What you’ll be doing Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior School leadership team Coordinate and oversee the school's academic substitutions, reporting, and data management Assist with the organisation of school events, activities, and other key functions Liaise with teachers, students, and parents to address queries and resolve issues Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems What we're looking for Significant experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably within an educational setting Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach Proficiency in using technology and various software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, student management systems (Synergetic)) Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proven track record of delivering results What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Access to employee wellbeing programs and initiatives About us Scotch Oakburn College is a leading independent school in Launceston, Tasmania, with a proud history dating back to 1886.
