Director of Nursing - Health Service Manager Permanent or Fixed Term Full-Time appointment at up to 80 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Director of Nursing - Health Service Manager to join the team at Mullewa Health Service in the Midwest. Essential Qualifications & Experience Advanced clinical skills and previous experience in working within acute care, including an emergency department environment. Demonstrated ability as a leader/coordinator in diverse team environments. Highly developed communication skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships. Commitment to delivering clinical services to the community and achieving high quality outcomes. Experience in management of financial, human and physical resources and the achievement of agreed strategic outcomes. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and health regulating Acts, experience and understanding of legislative obligations. Current WA C or C-A Class drivers licence and ability to travel within the region, including overnight stays. Responsibilities Responsible for the effective management, development and leadership of the health service to ensure best practice delivery of hospital, aged residential and community-based services. Responsible for developing cooperative relationships with local communities and organisations.
