Our platform is used by federations, clubs, and event organizers worldwide to streamline operations, enhance player experience, and bring real-time insights to the game. Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager based in Australia to be a pivotal part of our team. This role goes beyond event support; you will be our key local representative, responsible for comprehensive account management, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring the seamless adoption and functionality of our sports tech platform across Australia. This part-time role requires significant travel and a proactive, independent individual with a deep understanding of the sports ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, including event organizers, federations, clubs, coaches, and other stakeholders, fostering strong, long‑term relationships. Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Communicate platform updates, gather feedback, and relay comprehensive insights and requirements to our remote product and operations teams in India. Attend local sports tournaments and league events as the senior on‑site company representative. Ensure our platform functions flawlessly on‑ground, overseeing all modules including registrations, live scoring, scheduling, and analytics. Independently troubleshoot and resolve real‑time operational or technical issues, escalating complex problems to the remote support team when necessary. Be prepared for extensive travel within Australia, including on weekends and evenings, to support events. Flexibility to support events during late‑night hours (Australian time) to align with India team support may occasionally be required. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Australian sports landscape (e.g., clubs, academies, leagues, schools). Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our platform. Contribute to market research and competitive analysis to inform our growth strategy in Australia. Gain a comprehensive and in‑depth understanding of all platform modules and functionalities, becoming a subject matter expert. Conduct thorough testing of new features, updates, and bug fixes, providing detailed feedback to the development team. Assist in the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), translating client needs and market insights into clear specifications for the product development team. Collaborate closely with our remote development and support team for any technical updates, bug fixes, or feature enhancements. Conduct comprehensive training sessions and workshops for event staff, volunteers, partners, and new clients on effective platform utilization. Submit detailed post‑event and client interaction reports, highlighting key observations, incidents, performance insights, and growth opportunities. Requirements Australian resident or hold valid, unrestricted work authorization for Australia. Mandatory: Strong background and experience in sports management, sports events, or a related field within the sports industry. This is a critical requirement, and candidates without this experience will not be considered. Proven experience in account management, technical support, or a client‑facing role, preferably within a tech or sports tech company. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely. Highly tech‑savvy with a strong aptitude for quickly learning, understanding, and troubleshooting mobile/web‑based platforms and software. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Australia for events, including frequently on weekends and evenings. A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a high degree of independence and a genuine passion for sports and technology. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new software applications and processes. Nice to Have Prior experience with sports tech tools (e.g., tournament software, scoring apps, streaming platforms). Existing network within the local racket sports landscape (table tennis, badminton, pickleball) and broader Australian sports community. Educational background in Sports Management, Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
