We are seeking a Showroom Operations Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Sydney CBD showroom. This is a professional, back-of-house role focused on precision, reliability and high standards – not a casual retail position. About the role This is a full‑time, in‑office role based in our Sydney CBD showroom. You will be responsible for ensuring the showroom, garments and fittings are always prepared to a consistently high standard so our tailors and stylists can focus on clients. Key responsibilities include: Preparing, steaming and organising custom garments (suits, shirts, jackets) ahead of fittings Coordinating garments and fitting rooms for client appointments to a set schedule Unpacking, labelling and storing new stock and fabric books in line with our systems Maintaining a tidy, presentable and well‑organised showroom and office environment Coordinating and completing occasional garment pick‑ups and drop‑offs within the CBD Liaising with tailors and the sales team to ensure garments and alterations are where they need to be, when they need to be there Supporting the team with structured administrative and operational tasks as required You’ll be the person who knows where everything is, what’s coming next, and what needs to be ready — and you’ll be trusted to keep it all running smoothly. Who you are This is not an entry‑level retail job. You are someone who takes work seriously and is used to operating in a professional environment. You have: At least 2–3 years of full‑time experience in a professional or premium service environment (e.g. corporate office, hotel, airline, luxury retail, showroom, or operations role) A track record of being reliable, punctual and calm under pressure Strong organisational skills and attention to detail — you notice when something is out of place or off schedule The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks you are given Clear, confident communication skills and a professional, polished presentation Comfort with hands‑on work (steaming garments, moving stock, setting up rooms) Basic proficiency with office and calendar software Full Australian working rights An interest in menswear, tailoring or fashion is an advantage, but your professionalism and operational discipline matter most.
