Help build a cleaner, greener future for communities across Australia. Job Description You’ll be working at the forefront of renewable energy, maintaining and troubleshooting wind turbines. No two days are the same – you’ll climb turbines, solve real‑world technical challenges, and keep Australia’s wind power turning. Essential Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines and site infrastructure. Follow GE manuals, specifications, and work instructions. Conduct maintenance, fault finding, and high‑voltage switching operations. Participate in annual maintenance, retrofit works, major component exchanges, and fault finding. Use GE software tools to maintain reports and submit technical queries. Ensure compliance with JSA, LOTO, EHS policies, and report issues promptly. Make a conformance or non‑conformance decision upon completion of inspections. Report errors, violations, incidents, or problems immediately using GE reporting systems. Embed a 37.5‑hour work week with opportunities for overtime and on‑call rosters for after‑hours or weekend work. Qualifications, Requirements & Competencies Qualified Electrician or a qualified Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter with electrical aptitude. Proficient in fault finding (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment). Proficient in using computer systems and tools for monitoring work and managing documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. A current unrestricted driver’s license. Ability to complete physically demanding tasks at heights; comfortable climbing turbines. Commitment to safety, high performance, continuous improvement, and delivering solutions. Independent, solutions‑focused, and well‑organized in managing tasks.
