Employment Details Company: Catholic Healthcare Location: Charles O'Neil Hostel – Mayfield West Type: Full-time Permanent Pay rate: $38.10 per hour + superannuation Seniority: Mid-Senior level Industry: Health Care Position Overview As a member of the Leadership team, you will develop, plan, and implement lifestyle activities and programs that give residents choices in maintaining their social, psychological, recreational, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing. Responsibilities Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities. Conduct resident assessments to understand preferences and needs. Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents. Involve the wider community, volunteers, family, and friends where possible. Act as team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the lifestyle team. Work in a safe manner, following all policies and procedures. Qualifications Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Strong coaching/training skills. Ability to establish professional relationships with residents and their families. Commitment to respecting residents’ values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs. Proficiency in IT skills (to be tested). NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain. What We Offer You Competitive hourly pay rate. Not-for-profit tax benefits.
