Technician Team Leader – Hilti Australia Role Overview The Technician Team Leader strengthens Hilti’s customer relationships and improves our market position by delivering outstanding repair and After Market Services that exceed customer needs and outperform competitors in quality, service level and value. Responsibilities Leading and developing a high‑performing team of Technicians Enhancing operational effectiveness by analyzing organizational structures, systems and procedures within AMS Identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements and supporting strategic initiatives that elevate customer satisfaction, team performance and service quality Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery Facilitating change management and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting technical and procedural innovations across AMS Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Managing and coaching experience with a team of 6+ members Proven track record of achieving targets, KPIs and tight deadlines Exemplary time management skills Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving a safe work culture Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills Ability to collaborate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across functions and levels Demonstrated experience in managing dynamic operations and process changes Exposure to LEAN process systems would be advantageous Ability to effectively explain and communicate targets to team members, translate KPIs and link back to business Benefits & Compensation A competitive salary base and bonus An extra week of leave (5 weeks total) Leave loading of 17.5% Two paid days per year to give back to community & volunteer Access to Converge EAP – 6 free sessions per year for you and family (lifestyle, legal, money & nutrition) Diverse and inclusive culture – over 39 nationalities at Hilti Australia Opportunities to move around the business – work abroad, experience different job functions and tackle different markets Seniority Level Mid–Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Information Technology Industry Construction, Industrial Machinery Manufacturing, Civil Engineering EEO Statement We employ 39 different nationalities within Hilti Australia and many more across the globe.
