Job Description Mentor technicians and ensure tools deliver peak performance for customers. The Technician Team Leader is responsible for strengthening Hilti’s customer relationships and improving our market position by delivering outstanding repair and After Market Services that exceed customer needs and outperforms our competitors in quality, service level and value. What You’ll Do Leading and developing a high performing team of Technicians Enhancing Hilti’s operational effectiveness by analyzing organizational structures, systems, and procedures within the After Market Services (AMS) division. Identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives that elevate customer satisfaction, team performance, and service quality. Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery Facilitating change management and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting technical and procedural innovations across AMS Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Managing and coaching experience with a team of 6+ members Proven track record of achieving targets, KPIs & tight deadlines Exemplary time management skills Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving a safe work culture Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills Ability to collaborate and have strong relationships with a range of stakeholders across functions and levels Demonstrated experience in managing dynamic operations and process changes Exposure to LEAN process systems would be advantageous Can effectively explain and communicate targets to team members, translate KPIs and link back to business What’s In It for You A competitive salary base and bonus An extra week of leave - i.e. 5 weeks leave Leave loading of 17.5% - i.e. you are paid and additional 17.5% of your salary for the days you take annual leave Two paid days per year to give back to your community & volunteer Access to Converge EAP - with you & your family members entitled to 6 free sessions per year (in the areas of lifestyle, legal, money & nutrition) A diverse and inclusive culture – with over 39 different nationalities at Hilti Australia Opportunities to move around the business – to work abroad, experience different job functions and tackle different markets.
