Project Coordinator – Live Events & Theatre (Part-Time, Equivalent to 2 Days/Week) Are you looking for a part-time role that’s hands‑on, varied, and genuinely exciting? About Evolution Productions Evolution Productions is a boutique live events and theatrical producing company working across Australia and the UK. From school and community events through to international theatrical ventures, we pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality, well‑run productions with a strong people‑first culture. You’ll work directly with the two Directors, gaining inside exposure to both the events and producing sides of the business. What You’ll Be Doing No two weeks will look the same — but you can expect to be involved in: Coordinating client bookings, production schedules, and event logistics Liaising with schools, corporate clients, venues, and suppliers Supporting our team of contractors and technicians with rostering and day‑to‑day comms Assisting with hiring and sourcing equipment and tech gear Keeping project documents, spreadsheets, and logistics plans up to date Joining producing and client meetings, capturing actions, and following up General admin support to keep operations running smoothly and improve internal systems Optional (but highly valued): On‑site support at events (particularly if you have technical or stage/event operations experience) Who We’re Looking For You’ll be a great fit if you: Are proactive, organised, and enjoy enabling others to do their best work Communicate well with clients, suppliers, and team members Can juggle multiple projects and stay across key details Are tech‑savvy and comfortable with spreadsheets, project tools, and systems Are keen to learn and grow with a small, ambitious business Bonus points if you have: Experience in theatre, events, or production (admin, tech, or coordination) Technical knowledge of live production (sound, lighting, or AV) Experience working with schools or community organisations Role Details Part‑time : Approx. 2 days per week (with flexibility across the week) Mix of remote + occasional on‑site work Ideal for someone building their events/theatre career or someone wanting meaningful part‑time professional work Brisbane‑based applicants We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of the Evolution team – trusted, collaborative, and ready to roll up their sleeves as we grow.
