The Spirited Goat Pty Ltd is currently seeking full time Chefs for our busy restaurant located in Townsville, Queensland. We're looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic Chef who enjoys what they do, have a great work ethics and passion. The business has grown to become one of Townsville's most desired places to be, every day of the week and is now the heart of specialty coffee and features breakfast, lunch & dinner. Located right next to Ottos in the Precinct, Fairfield 23/12-18 Village Dr, Idalia QLD 4811 and on The Strand. We pride ourselves on offering exciting and rewarding opportunities for our employees. About You You will have a strong work ethic and your personal presentation will be immaculate. You will be reliable and have the drive to succeed. Experience working in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years as a Chef in a fast/paced high volume venue. Responsibilities Enforce hygiene regulations, train cooks, kitchen hands and other kitchen staff. Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including ordering stock. Design, prepare and create amazing dishes for our customers. Ensure kitchen and equipment complies with hygiene and safety regulations. Preserve and store food stuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities. Qualifications For the position of Chef De Partie the applicant must have Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent and a Diploma of Hospitality or equivalent .
