We build the clinical skills of the multidisciplinary team to respond to patient deterioration, develop innovative evidence‑based programmes, and lead whole of health service simulation exercises. The Role Clinical Nurse Educator at the Mersey Community Hospital in the perioperative environment requires extensive experience as a perioperative nurse, specialising in anaesthetics and post‑anaesthetics care unit or in endoscopy and scrub‑scout roles. As an educator you will be responsible for developing the competence of newly registered nurses and nurses new to the perioperative environment. Details of Appointment Fixed‑term part‑time day worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you would like to join our team until 21 November 2026. Salary $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro‑rate). Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Our employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Additional allowances may be available: post‑graduate allowance up to 10% based on qualification type.
