Ensures the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education and nursing research functions within the Department of Emergency Medicine;and Leads and manages the coordination of overall patient care and is responsible for managing the allocated human, material and financial resources for service delivery within the Department of EmergencyMedicine. What You’llDo: Lead and mentor nursing staff across all emergency departmentshifts Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with safetyprotocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patientoutcomes Manage staffing schedules and resourceallocation Drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice Support staff development through coaching and professional growth opportunities What We’re LookingFor: Current registration with AHPRA as a RegisteredNurse Substantial experience in emergency or acute carenursingProven leadership experience in clinicalsettings Strong communication and interpersonalskills Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions underpressure Note:—Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may beavailable: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualificationtype Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package arange of benefits including living expenses up to $ 9 , 010 + $ 2 , 650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits ifeligible.
