Your next career opportunity As the Senior Advisor LGBTIQA+ Inclusion, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the University of Melbourne's Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. You will lead the re-development and implementation of the LGBTIQA+ Action Plan, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the University community. This is your opportunity to utilise your expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion to drive meaningful change and enhance the University's inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include: Lead and Implement LGBTIQA+ Action Plan: Oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the University's LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Action Plan. Provide Specialist Advice: Offer expert guidance on equity, diversity, and inclusion to University leaders, preparing impactful reports and briefings. Foster Strategic Partnerships: Build strong relationships with key organisational areas and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of diversity initiatives. Manage and Support Teams: Provide leadership and line management for up to two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. You may be a great fit if: You are a skilled professional with extensive experience in strategic diversity , equity and inclusion initiatives, possessing strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to advancing LGBTIQA+ inclusion. You may also: Have significant expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion, including LGBTIQA+ inclusion. Possess strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate excellent communication abilities. Be adept at engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Have experience working in large, complex organisations.
