Your next career opportunity As the Senior Advisor LGBTIQA+ Inclusion, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the University of Melbourne's Diversity and Inclusion Strategy. Responsibilities Lead and implement LGBTIQA+ Action Plan: Oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the University's LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Action Plan. Provide specialist advice: Offer expert guidance on equity, diversity, and inclusion to University leaders, preparing impactful reports and briefings. Foster strategic partnerships: Build strong relationships with key organisational areas and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of diversity initiatives. Manage and support teams: Provide leadership and line management for up to two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Qualifications Skilled professional with extensive experience in strategic diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to advancing LGBTIQA+ inclusion. Significant expertise in equity, diversity, and inclusion, including LGBTIQA+ inclusion. Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication abilities and adept at engaging and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Experience working in large, complex organisations.
