Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager

About the Opportunity We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Governance, Risk and Compliance to lead and strengthen the College’s governance, risk and compliance frameworks. This is a strategic leadership role that supports the College’s commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of governance and risk management strategies Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including WHS, child protection, privacy, and educational standards Provide expert advice to the Business Manager and College Leadership Team Promote a culture of accountability, transparency and ethical practice Coordinate internal audits and regulatory reviews Deliver training and build staff capacity in compliance-related areas This role is pivotal in supporting the College’s mission and values, and contributes to the safety and flourishing of our students, staff and broader community. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position About You Proven experience in governance, risk and compliance (preferably in education or a similar sector) Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A collaborative and proactive approach to leadership Membership with the Governance Institute of Australia (or similar) A personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the College’s purpose Why Join William Clarke College?
