Cleaning Manager (Part-Time - Night Shift) Location: Brisbane North, South & Inner Suburbs Employment Type: Part-Time (approx. 3 night shifts per week) Travel compensated | Immediate start available About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites throughout Brisbane’s North, South, and Inner Suburbs. This is a part‑time position (three night shifts per week) with the potential to transition to full‑time for the right candidate demonstrating strong performance and leadership. The role involves both management and on‑the‑ground support, ensuring that high cleaning standards are maintained, staff are well‑trained, and clients are satisfied. You must be willing and able to perform cleaning duties when required, including providing shift cover and assisting with periodical cleaning tasks. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor cleaning quality and compliance. Manage, deliver and restock consumables, cleaning chemicals, and equipment. Induct and onboard new cleaning staff, providing training in cleaning standards, safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain and record all staff training and performance updates. Undertake periodical and deep cleaning tasks as required. Provide cleaning shift cover to support teams when needed. Ensure Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards are followed at all times. Communicate effectively with management and clients regarding site performance and needs. About You Previous managerial or supervisory experience in the cleaning industry. Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Comfortable working independently and performing hands‑on tasks. Willing and able to perform cleaning duties when required. Understanding of WHS and safe chemical handling procedures. Own reliable vehicle and current driver’s licence are essential. Must hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Check.
