Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Deliver strategic planning, governance, risk and assurance for the Planning, Integration & Passenger (PIP) Division; Lead the development of the divisional strategy, manage divisional risk and audit activities, and partner closely with executives to align branch priorities to enterprise objectives; Drive decision‑making, influence priorities, and shape how PIP responds to strategic issues, government directions and customer needs in a highly collaborative, matrix environment; Lead strategic planning approaches, strengthen risk and audit practices, and enhance alignment across a complex, multi‑modal transport portfolio, creating efficiencies, clearer priorities and stronger outcomes for customers and communities; Operate at the core of PIP’s mission in the Divisional Management Office, using customer insights, data and integrated planning to improve transport outcomes across NSW. This position is based in our Elizabeth St office in Sydney CBD, with hybrid work arrangements supported. Recruitment for this role will be on hold during the Christmas period, with progress continuing in early 2026. Qualifications Strong stakeholder management skills, strategic leadership capability and experience operating at scale within large, complex organisations or divisions of comparable size (approx. 2,000 people); Credible leadership in strategy, risk and audit, skilled at presenting, facilitating and using data to inform decisions; Experience building high‑performing teams that partner effectively with executives and PMOs; Demonstrated experience developing new approaches for organisations and implementing them end‑to‑end across a functional domain; Culture‑first mindset, enabling your team to drive strong governance, manage divisional risk and support PIP in delivering its customer‑focused mission.
