Apartment Manager (Couples Preferred) with Resident Letting Agent Licence Toowong, QLD A$130,000-$160,000 p/a Real Estate & Property → Residential Leasing & Property Management On-site Posted 1 day ago About the role This is a full-time Serviced Apartments Management with Management Rights role at a riverside suburb 5km from the CBD of Brisbane, Queensland. As the Apartments' Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the apartments, ensuring exceptional customer service and the efficient management of the property, including compliance with the Body Corporate Management Agreement. What you'll be doing Managing front desk operations, including check‑in/check‑out, reservations, and customer inquiries, delivering excellent friendly customer service. Using all property operating systems (currently Hirum) and website management with the ability to adapt as required. Applying a minimum of 3+ years experience with property management systems. Overseeing the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the apartments and surroundings, including the pool, are well‑presented and well‑maintained, including purchasing supplies and apartment contents. Hiring staff, including relief managers. Managing the apartments' financial operations, including budgeting to set and achieve profitable results, invoicing, payment of bills, and banking. Reporting to the Accountant and Payroll Officer, Body Corporate Manager, and the Owner. Operating the Trust Account. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards, especially maintaining a Letting Agent Licence required for operation of the Trust Account. What we're looking for Significant experience (5+ years) in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in an accommodation setting. Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing a high‑quality guest experience. Financial management skills, especially Trust accounting. Minimum 1–2 years experience in Trust accounting required. Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities. Resident Letting Agent licence must be held at the time of application. Couples are preferred for this position; for couples applying, either partner may hold the Trust accounting experience requirement and either partner acceptable to hold Resident Letting Agent licence.
