Senior Legal Counsel, Construction & Major Projects Lawyer Exciting opportunity at the SLC level to join one of Australia's best known construction and infrastructure participants. 8 to 12 years' post admission experience (PAE) Broad projects and industries Front‑end and transactional focus We represent a leading provider of construction, infrastructure and facility services in Australia. As a result of growth, they are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their front‑end and transactional focused sub‑team. This role will ideally be based in Sydney. The Team This highly respected business is recruiting for an experienced construction lawyer to join their in‑house Legal team based in Sydney. The team is headed by a group of senior lawyers who have been exposed to various sectors within the construction practice area, with this expertise having the capacity to assist your career development. The Role This role will see you reporting directly to the Head of Front‑End Transactions. You will be responsible for offering transactional legal support, with your key responsibilities focusing on providing support on the company's bids and tenders across a range of projects and industries including major social infrastructure, energy (including renewables), utilities and telecommunications. Additionally, you will provide legal assistance to project governance initiatives and, where appropriate, report to project governance bodies/forums. This is a great opportunity that offers a wide array of work matters, as well as a dynamic and diverse environment to work alongside some of the most esteemed legal practitioners.
