We are seeking teachers across multiple year levels including Kindy, Pre‑Primary and Primary. You will report to the Principal and collaborate with fellow educators and Aboriginal Education Workers to provide a high‑quality, inclusive learning experience grounded in local culture and community values. Responsibilities Delivering differentiated lessons aligned to the WA curriculum. Collaborating with Aboriginal educators in a team‑teaching environment. Incorporating two‑way learning that reflects local cultural knowledge. Building strong relationships with students, staff, and community. Managing classroom behaviour in a culturally aware and responsive way. Supporting extra‑curricular activities like music, sport or on‑country learning. Participating in community and school events, camps, and excursions. This is a full‑time position offered on a rolling 12‑month contract basis. About You You’re not just a teacher — you’re a relationship builder, a team player, and someone who thrives on making a difference beyond the classroom walls. To qualify, you’ll need a Bachelor of Education, registration with the TRBWA, and a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). While prior teaching experience in rural or remote communities is highly regarded, we also warmly welcome early‑career teachers who bring maturity, passion, and an eagerness to embrace a culturally rich and rewarding environment. Additional Skills and Background Cultural awareness and experience working with Aboriginal communities. ESL or EALD teaching experience or strategies. Strong curriculum knowledge and behaviour management skills. Trauma‑informed education experience (desirable). Four‑wheel drive licence or willingness to obtain. You’ll also bring resilience, curiosity, and open‑mindedness. You understand that working in community is as much about listening and learning as it is about teaching.
