About the Role As a Designer – Content , you’ll shape high-impact digital content that drives customer acquisition, engagement and conversion across Origin’s sales channels. You’ll translate complex energy concepts into clear, compelling messages, while working hands‑on with structured content systems - including JSON-based components and WordPress - to deliver consistent, compliant and scalable digital experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, product, digital, legal and compliance teams to develop new ideas, refine journeys and uphold strong content governance. This role suits someone who loves blending creativity, UX thinking, data‑led optimisation and the technical side of content production. Key Responsibilities Create, test and optimise content across digital sales journeys to drive performance and conversion. Translate complex propositions into simple, customer‑focused messages and structured content patterns. Design, publish and maintain content within schema‑driven CMS environments (WordPress, JSON‑based components, metadata and variable binding). Work with Marketing, UX, Sales, Legal and Compliance to deliver cohesive and compliant experiences. Use analytics, experimentation and A/B testing to continuously improve engagement and conversion. Ensure all content meets brand, regulatory, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and content governance standards. Support product and campaign rollouts across our customer‑facing channels. Maintain content structure, tagging, metadata, component governance and version control to minimise risk. About You You’re a digital content designer who can move fast, solve problems creatively and work confidently across technical and marketing environments. You understand how structured content works, how customers make decisions, and how to balance creativity with compliance and operational excellence. You’ll Bring: Proven experience designing, editing and optimising digital content across sales or acquisition environments. Ability to simplify complex ideas and write clearly, quickly and effectively across formats. Comfort working with structured content - JSON fundamentals, WordPress, HTML/CSS or similar component‑based systems. Understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards and conversion‑led content design. Experience navigating regulated environments (energy, telco, finance) is highly regarded. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Confidence working in cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders at pace.
