Join Origin’s dynamic Marketing team as our next Designer – Content & Experience , where you’ll craft meaningful, accessible and scalable content that reaches millions of customers across Australia. This is your chance to influence every stage of the customer journey for our electrification products while designing content that is modular, personalised, platform‑agnostic and built for seamless delivery across Origin’s digital ecosystem. We shape the brand, drive sales, manage high‑impact programs and deliver excellence at speed. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing new customer propositions and designing customer communications that are clear, frictionless and strategically aligned with our rapidly expanding home electrification products. Strategic Thinking, Market Insight & Go‑to‑Market Content Leadership In this role, you’ll combine content design expertise with strategic thinking to shape how Origin brings new and emerging products to market. You will use customer insights, research, market trends and competitive intelligence to craft messaging that positions Origin’s electrification and energy‑transition solutions with clarity, value and differentiation. With products like Origin Loop, EV Power Up and our emerging battery plan suite of plans, the Origin electrification team has built a solid foundation to meet the evolving energy needs with innovative solutions. You will help translate our emerging product strategy and roadmap into compelling communication frameworks that guide teams, support decision‑making and strengthen our go‑to‑market effectiveness, building engaging and enduring connections with our customers. You will: Translate emerging product strategy and customer research into clear, insight‑led communication frameworks. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, competitor activity and customer behaviour to inform messaging and content strategy. Partner with product and marketing teams to shape go‑to‑market narratives for new electrification propositions, pilots and innovation in add‑ons. Develop messaging hierarchies, value propositions and content treatments that align with customer needs and market positioning. Use data, testing and insight to validate and refine messaging across digital journeys, ensuring relevance and impact. Support early‑stage product development by advising on customer‑readiness, content requirements and communication opportunities. Contribute strategic thinking that connects content, product intent and customer outcomes across all channels. Content Strategy, Communications & Creation Craft high‑quality, engaging and accessible content across multiple channels and touchpoints. Work hand‑in‑hand with UX, product, design and subject‑matter experts to build modular, reusable content that scales. Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across omnichannel experiences. Drive improvements in the CMS to enable best‑in‑class content design and operational efficiency. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Collaborate with marketing, sales, digital, operations and product teams to support key customer communication initiatives. Liaise with legal, compliance and risk teams to ensure all content meets regulatory and privacy requirements. Contribute to service communications such as lifecycle updates, mandatory notices and remediation messages across My Account, Origin’s app and online channels. Bring ideas that strengthen our communication strategy and customer‑first mindset. Compliance, Governance & Mandatory Communications Support the delivery of mandatory and regulatory communications with clarity, accuracy and customer‑friendly language. Maintain tone of voice and messaging consistency across sales, service, and engagement communications. Ensure all content complies with legal, regulatory and brand guidelines. End‑to‑End Content Thinking & Operations Work closely with the Content Operations Manager to structure, store and deliver content effectively within CMS, CRM and automation platforms. Take a platform‑agnostic approach ensuring content can flex across multiple channels and systems. Support dynamic content delivery across platforms like Kraken, Text Expanders, WordPress and Braze. Embrace an agile approach to content creation, testing and continuous improvement. Problem Solving & Decision Making Review and provide expert guidance on content developed across multiple business units. Approve content across both retail and non‑retail areas including specialist energy communications. Ensure all messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to customer, brand and regulatory standards. Act as a content expert helping teams refine messaging for clarity, engagement and impact. About You You’re a content designer with a depth of product proposition developmennt expertise who blends creativity with systems thinking. You understand how customers behave, how digital platforms work, and how great content can transform the end‑to‑end experience across digital channels and platforms. You bring: A deep understanding of accessible, customer‑first communication principles. Experience working with CMS/CRM and content automation tools. The ability to collaborate, influence and work across multiple teams. A passion for crafting content that is scalable, strategic and meaningful.
