Position Summary We are looking for a passionate Commis Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in the main kitchen, supporting the pastry section in the preparation and execution of a wide range of high-quality pastry and bakery items. The Role Assists the Chef de Partie in running the assigned workstation. Produces a consistent, high-quality product and provides a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times. Has full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned station to the standard set. Is flexible and adapts to required rotation within the Culinary Division. Maintains the general standards of the kitchen as well as the implementation of the kitchen manual rules and regulations for the section. Ensures that all colleagues adhere to guidelines in accordance with the Food, Health, Hygiene and Safety manuals. Talent Profile Tertiary education or culinary qualifications. Experience in a similar role. Good command of written and spoken English. Food Safety Hygiene experience. Full working rights in Australia.
