No day is the same Quarterly team building events (Golf days, Clay Target, BBQ’s, beers at the pub) You’ll get training provided andhelp upskilling in areas you’re passionate about (AIS accreditation, Aircon tickets and more) Company credit card Company fuel card (saving you $100+ a week on ‘get to work’ costs)- don’t pay a thing Family run business with a focus forwork-life balance (because family comes first) Uniforms, PPE andwork boots supplied (we even supply safe style sunnies) Exciting projects working withtop tier clients iPhone and laptop with all the manuals and programs you need Potential to grow into a management role (service coordinator, senior technician, supervisor… the list goes on) Be part of a high-performing team withexcellent work culture (we don’t work with duds) Positive and supportive bosses who will look after you We maintain high safety standards (your safety is our top priority ) Here’s a day in the life of a Reid Diesel mechanic: Work on first class OEMS like Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Kobelco, Volvo, Isuzu, Scania, Mack, John Deere gear & MORE Work with industry leaders like Boral, The Neilsen Group, Killard Group, ESG (Earth Solutions Group), Stratum & MORE Attend breakdowns, perform scheduled servicing, hydraulic repairs, hydraulic hose, electrical repairs, diagnostics and fault finding, accessory fitting, welding & fabrication & auto electrical (you name it, we do it) Servicing and repairs ofair conditioning systems (relevant accreditations required) Perform truck COIs (if you don’t have the relevant accreditations, don’t sweat, we’ll sort it) Component change outs and rebuilds NO DAY IS THE SAME – DO A SERVICE TODAY, COMPLETE ENGINE REBUILD TOMORROW AND CHAIN AND PLATE SWAP NEXT WEEK Here’s what we need from you: ️Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology (Highly regarded) or Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) Minimum 5 years post trade experience highly regarded Comprehensive experience with heavy earthmoving and agricultural equipment highly regarded Extensive knowledge of diesel systems and components (including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components) Certificate II in Automotive Airconditioning Technology/ Refrigerant Handling Licence highly regarded Approved Examiner (Heavy Vehicle Inspection Module) highly regarded Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills , allowing you to identify and rectify complex issues A commitment to delivering high quality work and the ability to maintain detailed records of all work performed Tech-savvy (so you can use that company iPhone and laptop) andexperience with ServiceM8 /Job Management software advantageous Ability to collaborate with suppliers to order necessary components–if you’re keen to run your own show , or we can handle this Top notch communication and customer service skills (you’re the face of our business) Honest, reliable, motivated and trustworthy character with a positive,‘GO HARD OR GO HOME’ attitude Valid driver’s licence (essential)and Construction Industry Card (White Card) highly regarded(don’t have one?
