The role is varied and as such you must be diverse and able to adapt to an ever-changing, high-pressure environment. Must be self- driven and take responsibility in your work Must be well presented Reliable and dependable Competent Math and Computer Literacy Ability to take charge of your work and use what you've learned to operate independently Small business minded Capability to work with a team and autonomously to achieve combined Goals with a Great Work Ethic Willing to complete any task required for the benefit of the team We are looking for individuals who are actively looking to continually learn and grow within their working environment. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Listen to customer requirements and provide expert advice on products, including carpets, rugs, vinyl, timber flooring, curtains, blinds, and shutters. Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase. Process sales transactions using our POS system. Maintain showroom appearance and ensure products are displayed effectively. Maintain Data Entry Requirements/ Price-ticketing etc Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends. Measure rooms and provide accurate quotations. Previous experience in the flooring industry is not required. You Must be confident in providing In-home Consultations, Taking measurements and drawing/Working out plans to provide customer quotations. You will be taught the skills needed for this though you must be Competent on computers, Confident in learning this and take Pride and Accountability in your work.
