Medical Administration (Healthcare & Medical) We are seeking a receptionist to join our friendly team, the successful applicant would be appointed on a casual part time basis working approximately 15.5 hours a week including Saturday. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of Best Practice will be highly regarded. Medical Receptionist Duties Meeting and greeting patients and ensuring the smooth flow of patients in the waiting room. Answering telephone calls, attending to patient enquiries and booking appointments. Invoicing and receipting private accounts. Scanning mail and allocating. Ensuring a friendly and professional service is provided to patients. Ensuring that the medical centre is maintained in a tidy and presentable manner. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner. Great time management and organisational skills. Able to cope with high volume of phone calls at certain times. Ability to adapt to new tasks and fluctuating time pressures. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Flexibility to fill in hours and help with sick and annual leave cover.
