This role involves leading complex policy development and project work, providing high-level advice to senior executives and government ministers, and representing the department in cross-government and intergovernmental forums. Key priorities include navigating a dynamic industrial and regulatory landscape, managing stakeholder consultations, and delivering evidence-based recommendations that support government priorities and service delivery reforms. The successful candidate can expect to work on high-impact initiatives that influence public sector performance and contribute to whole-of-government responses on critical industrial relations matters.
