Rosterer & Medical Receptionist

Our Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Warrnambool is looking for a professional, friendly, highly organised individual to join our medical staff support team on a part time basis. As a rosterer & medical receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall operation of our clinic. About the Role You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in keeping the clinic running smoothly including responding to staff sick calls and coordinating coverage for both the Nurse and Administrative Support Teams in consultation with the Practice Manager. Key Responsibilities Welcoming and registering patients Managing appointments and phone enquiries Processing Medicare claims and private health insurance claims Liaising with clinical staff to manage patient flow Keeping both the reception and waiting areas organised and professional Assisting with the rostering of both the Nurse & Administrative Support Teams (including sick leave coverage) in consultation with the Practice Manager What We Are Looking For Reliable and punctual Professional and clear in communication Organised and detail-focused Experience in rostering or scheduling (preferred) Previous experience in medical or administrative reception is a plus, but not required Team player willing to support colleagues Training & Support 4 weeks comprehensive training at our Medicare Urgent Care Clinic located in Warrnambool.
