Mine Geology Superintendent – Tritton Mine Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Job Description: Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and is a cornerstone of our copper and gold production. We are on the precipice of enormous change and are building a high‑performance team to reshaping how we operate. The Geology Superintendent will report to the Technical Services Manager on site and will lead the underground and open pit geology and drilling strategy through a team of 12 staff and contractors. The role will provide leadership to the geological team and manage the drilling contractor to ensure mine development is conducted safely, efficiently and profitably to industry standards. Responsibilities Oversee the provision of timely and accurate geological and associated reporting services that comply with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures. Drive long‑term growth through robust near‑mine exploration and geological planning. Coordinate geological activities to align with site‑wide operational and strategic goals. Effectively manage, plan and coordinate all short‑term and long‑term drilling programs and resource development. Undertake resource estimations and reconciliations that meet JORC 2014 standards. Manage, mentor and train team members in their day‑to‑day roles and project work to ensure appropriate standards are maintained. Ensure geological procedures and protocols are regularly updated and adhered to. Develop and enhance geological operational systems and technical reporting. Ensure rigorous QA/QC for drilling and production data. Manage contracts and programs related to geological drilling investigations. Lead reconciliation processes and model accuracy initiatives. Promote safety awareness and OH&S legislative compliance. Foster a collaborative, multidisciplinary team culture. Implement and monitor risk and cost management strategies. Build and manage zero‑based budgets to optimise cost control. About You Tertiary qualification in Geology. Advanced modelling and resource estimation skills in Surpac. Advanced database management skills, preferentially in Acquire. Well‑practised in QA/QC and grade control procedures. Relevant geological leadership experience in underground hard‑rock mining.
