Accounts Payable Officer

The Opportunity We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team based in Turrella. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process across King Living’s global entities, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all supplier payments. Working closely with the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you’ll contribute to process improvements and help deliver a seamless accounts payable experience that supports the business’s international growth. The Role Process supplier invoices in SAP and ensure timely approvals and accurate account coding. Manage global payment runs (daily, weekly, and monthly) across multiple entities. Reconcile vendor accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Set up and maintain vendor records, validating ABN, bank, and documentation details. Support month‑end activities including accruals and reconciliations. Process employee expense claims and Concur transactions in SAP. Prepare and process EFT payments and customer refunds. Respond to internal and external enquiries with professionalism and urgency. Assist with EOM reporting, audits, and ad-hoc finance projects. Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to resolve payment or coding issues. About You 2+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or finance support role. Experience in large‑scale or international operations with foreign currency exposure. Sound understanding of account coding, costing, and reconciliation processes . Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. SAP or ERP system experience (SAP B1 highly regarded). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Collaborative, proactive, and confident communicating across all levels. Naturally curious, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
