Casual positions commencing in January 2024 Full training and ongoing support provided. Western Work Force Fit Testing Team are looking for casual Respiratory Fit Testers to join our testing division in January 2024. The Role As a Respiratory Fit Tester, you will be trained in conducting Quantitative Fit Testing for Health Care and Mining workers. Working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, you will be conducting tests, liaising with customers, filing documentation, and performing light administration duties. About Fit Testing A respiratory protective equipment (RPE) fit test is a method for checking that a tight fitting facepiece matches the persons facial features and seals adequately. It will also help to identify unsuitable facepieces which should not be used. Fit Testers conduct the tests using a PortaCount® Respirator Machine, which carries out a sequence of protocol exercises. Our accredited Respiratory Fit Tester will provide full training and ongoing support to our casual team which will commence in December to prepare you for commencing in January 2024. Requirements A background within health and safety, healthcare and occupational hygiene would be beneficial but not essential. Strong customer service background with good communication skills – verbal and written. Proficient skills in outlook, excel, Microsoft word. Work well independently, able to troubleshoot and problem solve. Works well under‑pressure and has good time management skills. Available to commence in December 2023 for 2-3 days group training, and commence in January 2024.
