High performing, diverse, inclusive, and supportive teamProudly making a difference with the transition to renewable energyBased in Sydney with hybrid work arrangementsAward winning and Family Friendly organisationThe OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.We are looking for a seasoned Sourcing and Procurement Business Partner to manage Indirect categories (Recruitment, Travel, Office Products, HSE) and drive efficiencies to achieve value for money for the organisation.In these roles you will actively:Develop, execute and manage end to end category strategiesDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliersPerform market analysis, strategic sourcing, negotiation and execution of contracts with new and existing suppliersProvide sound commercial advice to internal stakeholders in line with category strategies, procurement policies and processesManage commercial, contractual, operational and ethical risks arising from contracts and supplier engagements and oversee governance of supplier performanceDevelop a culture of innovation and continuous improvement with internal and external stakeholdersSkills & ExperienceWhat we expect from you:Experience in and knowledge of the Indirect categories, including RecruitmentQualifications in a relevant discipline (Procurement, MCIPS) is desirableStrong background in strategic sourcing, category management and contract management Strong stakeholder engagement skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsCapability in effectively manage multiple concurrent sourcing projectsExperience in developing and successfully implementing robust category plans and sourcing strategies, and delivering, ongoing financial and non-financial benefits for the businessRecognition & RewardIn return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.Continue to make it happen for your career, and for the millions of Australians who rely on our services every day.Who we areAt Transgrid, our work improves the lives of millions – from lighting up sports fields, schools and homes, to powering the wheels of commerce and everything else in between.
