Senior Management Accountant

The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Management Accountant to support the financial, accounting, and strategic planning needs of Hanwha Energy Australia and Nectr Solar & Battery. This role sits within our Corporate Planning team and works closely with both the Australian business and the CSO/CFO office in Korean HQ. You will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow insights, and business performance monitoring. Key Responsibilities Management Accounting & Planning Prepare monthly financial performance and variance reports Deliver financial, operational and strategic analysis across multiple entities Manage financial risk reviews, cash flow reporting, forecasting and scenario planning Prepare weekly and monthly management reports for executives and HQ Support strategic planning, business planning, budgeting and long‑term forecasting Partner with business units to monitor KPIs, performance issues, and improvement opportunities Contribute to periodic and ad‑hoc reports on strategy, operations, and market activity Assist with performance tracking and delivery of management directives Analyse financial data and ensure accuracy of financial information Record financial transactions using Xero and ERP tools Resolve AP/AR queries and support finance operations Perform daily bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow Assist with tax filings, internal controls, general ledger work and external audits Support month‑end close, compliance and Australian accounting standards Contribute to internal control, ITR and other ad‑hoc accounting or finance tasks About You Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean 2–5 years’ experience in management accounting, finance or financial analysis Highly proficient in Excel, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Experience using ERP systems and cloud accounting software Xero Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player Experience in the Australian energy sector (highly desirable) CA / CPA qualified or working toward completion (not essential) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline Why Join Us Competitive remuneration based on experience Work with a global leader driving Australia’s renewable energy transition Exposure to large‑scale solar, battery and distributed energy projects Collaborative culture with international stakeholder engagement Strong opportunities for professional development and career growth Your application will include the following questions: Have you completed a qualification in accounting?
